Subject: audi 90q20v

I am looking for a new car and I am in love with the looks and performance
of the audi 90 series.  My biggest concern is reliablity and upkeep.  I
have access to a 1991 q20v with 100k, asking $9000.  What are the major
problems that I will likely experience.  Will I get killed on repairs.
Would you recommend a 1993 CS instead(if yes/no, why?).  I could get a 93
without quattro for about the same price.  How is the reliablity on those.
I drive in the snow a lot, but have done fine with FWD + studs so far.  My
other option is to(gulp!) stay away from audi and stick with a more common
brand until I can afford the upkeep.
