Bose whine/CD

I have the same problem with my V8.  I just figured it was a bad head unit,
and the tuner was going out.  I was just going to plan on installing a new
in dash cd player.  I haven't bothered to trouble shoot it, but I've had
simular problems in other cars, and it's usualy the head unit.  Let me know
if you hear differently.
