Urq Vin #

I just purchased an 83 Urq.  My question relates to the Vin #'s. According to some past letters in the archive from the Urq registry. My car's VIN that is stamped into the firewall of the car starts off as WAUZZZxxxxx but the VIN decal that is in the door jamb of the car shows WAUDC0. Now is this normal for these cars or does this indicate that this car was a grey market car. My second question concerns the serial number itself. Since the serial number is 319 does this mean that is was the 319th for all production or for US production specifically. Sorry if the questions are pretty basic but I figure someone out there knows.
