Door moldings

Had the same problem with my '92 100S. The problem is there is a metal strip
in the center of the black plastic molding to add rigidity. Through time,
water gets in, the metal rusts, expands, and deforms the molding. I thought
originally it was the clips also, but new clips will do nothing if the
molding is deformed (track where the clips attach is the place where the
expansion is worst). The whole moldings need replaced. I believe they are
about $30-$40 a pop, and they are easily replaced (remove one screw, and
they slide off). If you need part numbers, just let me know for which
moldings you need. HTH.
