Knock, knock, knock... "Excuse me, but it seems that your car has run into
mine."
I walk outside to dicover that my car (1990 200TQ) is sitting in the middle
of the road, parking brake still on, next to a 1990 Jaguar CXV parked on the
opposite side of the road. My rear bumper, drivers side corner, has neatly
caved in the drivers side door of the Jag. Bloody hell!!
Only some rub marks on my bumper to show that there was even contact. The
car (mine) had been parked for almost 40 minutes, parking brake/neutral,
when this suddenly occurred. The driveway has a slope of maybe three
degrees, no wind, no earthquake, no-one around...
Police report shows zero occupants in both cars - almost amusing...
Wondering if this might be some kind of revenge thing for that WWII thing,
deutsches auto - 1, englisher auto - 0 ?!
So does anybody know a good source for a door for the aforementioned
ill-fated Jaguar?
Bugger!!
TIA!
Peter
