Hey I was reading about your problem and it sounded very similar to mine. My
engine control fuse was actually blown on my car that is why it would not
read or run right in the morning but the car always ran fine after about 30
sec or after I could get it above 1600 rpm (I played with the throttle to
make this time so short). replaced the little red 10 amp fuse in my fuse box
and I was on my way starting very quickly every morning sense. This fuse is
not in the main box but in a row just below the main fuses. Look in each of
the fuse holes (look like spare fuse holders) and look for the electrical
contacts for the right hole. Good luck with it and I hope I am right.
