Rebore one pot only?

I've been thinking again (that can be dangerous). Phil, I'd normally
recommend boring out the damaged cylinder oversize but due to the high cost
of just one piston I'd say sleeve the cylinder block back to standard. What
condition is the old piston in? If it's decent this would be the cheapest
and keep it all in spec.

Absolutely right. However, the more I discover about the technology of
oversize pistons, the more I'm beginning to think this might be a
perfectly acceptable repair technique in _all_ cases of single pot
scoring.
