Great summary Scott!! Really sorry that more of you couldn't make it, its
an awesome track.
My highlights:
Learning a whole bunch of new lines and left footed braking compliments of
Mr. Justusson.
Being in the QSHIP with Scott when he went rallying at the Kink.
Hours of patient "have you checked this" and "why don't you look at that"
from Scott when the Ur-Q suddenly started to consume oil. No hesitation in
dropping what he was doing and coming over to diagnose a missing idle
adjustment screw (duh) when she started whistling at me in the second last
run. It brings to mind the Mastercard ad line "Priceless". Thanks again
Scott!!
Seeing Dean Treadway's stunningly quick 20v conversion from QSHIP on the
track. Charlie Day's immaculate 20v conversion engine bay. I want one just
like it.
The incredibly forgiving handling of the Ur-Q. It really needs more power
to get me into trouble.
Dave Ritter's refurbished Ur-Q. Looking good Dave!! Another US Ur-Q saved
for posterity.
A tremendous camaraderie amongst all the participants. Lots of great
conversations with total strangers driving all manner of vehicles. Seemed
much friendlier than two years ago.
