... actually it does make some sense ... the antenna amp for the rear window
also has something to do with the rear window defroster. If you look at the
amp you'll see that the high current supply for the defroster is connected
to the amp (at least that is what I found on the V8). I'm thinking that the
antenna operates differently (perhaps uses more of the heating grid as an
antenna) when the rear defroster is off. That noise is probably a sign of a
bad connection inside the amp unit ... or perhaps a semiconductor device
that is getting flaky.
