Fwd: AUDI 200 REAR FOG light

Depending upon the wattage of the bulb you use, you may be overloading the wiring to the driver's side rear fog by splicing in the other socket to have two rear fogs. Be aware, the concept of having only one rear fog light (well explained in someone's, I unfortunately forgot whoms, sorry, post) is a safety issue:
1) theoretically to prevent one from thinking that they are brake lights (unfortunately no one here (US) seems to know this)
2) by locating the fog always on the driver's side, the fog engulfed follower would theoretically know on which side the shoulder is on relative to the floating fog light, and which side is either oncoming traffic or open passing lane (although if all the following driver can see is your rear fog and not the remaining markers, what business do they have to pass you if you are moving??!?!?)

So, I don't see the point of wiring up the other rear fog (unless you have non-fog purposes in mind.....)
