NO relation/agenda here, im pretty much doing a stranger a favor in the 
philanthropic hopes of finding an ageing 44 a good home.....

the other day, walking home (actually NOT bc my 44 is broken : ), i got 
"caught" by owner checking out his car. (5000's look SO DAMN GOOD in red)  
He asked, half joking,  if i wanted to buy it + we got to chatting. So i 
said id do him a favor and post it to the list.

its an 86 5k cs tq 5spd. red with black leather. body is straight, paint is 
faded but looks like it would come back nicely with a buff. didnt notice any 
dents/dings (it was a quick look). it has 220k ish miles on it. sounds like 
its been well maintained, he claims to have lots of documentation and took 
it exclusively to a porsche audi guy in san ramon (i think).

the interior was pretty ratty looking, the seats need stitching, and the 
headliner is coming undone. the car no doubt needs a HEAP of tlc (read: $$). 
he mentioned it needed a brake master cylinder and it has a slow radiator 
leak (endcap)

would make a great swap/parts/second/support/rallybeast car. he wants about 
$2g for it. i advised him to post it to the audifans marketplace.
