vauxhall-audi/vw brake swaps

has anyone done this?? i offered a nova gte disk up to my cgt it was the
same as far as i could tell, the reason i am asking such a stupid question
is that when i was down a lcal scrapyard i looked at the brakes on a lot of
carltons and they were massive, a   guess says they would just fit inside
15s, although a serious caliper adaptor bracket would probably have to be
made.
