500 miles in a quattro

Ah.
Own up time.
Should have ensured that the oil was topped up.
Checked it this morning after it had all night to drain into the sump -
level was half way up the marked section on the dipstick. Added half a litre
and haven't seen a flash today, even after I ran it at 90+ for 15 miles
tonight.
Figure that yesterday was a combination of a lowish level and high oil
temperatures due to extended high speed running. Can't say what temperature
it reached because the temp gauge stops working at around 90 (thought I'd
fixed that, have to try again) and most of the time it wasn't showing
anything.
