Greetings,

A friend of mine is selling his 1987 4000Q.  It needs a lot of TLC, or can 
be used for parts.  Although it runs and drives well and is currently 
registered, the car is parked in the company parking lot, where a metal 
brakeline broke last week, and it hasn't moved since.  He doesn’t want to 
touch the car now, and is buying something else.  It is the Alpine edition 
with white alloys, white mirrors, and grey sport cloth seats with repeated 
"Quattro" print…  Mileage is over 150,000.  He wants $450 firm.  Here is 
what it needs:

- steel brakeline
- front pads (possibly rotors)
- ebrake cable y-pin (connects two ebrake cables to handbrake lever (cables 
are new and installed, though)
- runs and drives well, engine/trans solid
- has some rust in areas typical of New England 4000s, no major rot
- complete exhaust 6 mos. ago

Car will have to be towed, as it is in a corporate parking lot (not 
receptive to car repairs).  Located in Charlestown, MA right off Rt 93.
