No Golf 4motion in north amer

You may be in luck, if you like slushboxes. The Golf Variant (or Estate or
Wagon) will be coming to the US shortly. I believe this may be offered
as a 4Motion, but with an automatic transmission and VR6 only. I may be
totally wrong on this one, but the Golf wagon will be available soon
in the US.

However, for enthusiasts, the 24v VR6 6-spd. is not coming. I was thinking
a TT225 engined Golf 4Motion would be just the ticket for a nice city car.
