Not saying it's impossible, and I will check it, but I've TSD rallied this car
in it's prior life extensively and never had that be an issue.  Besides, I
don't see how that would effect the steering angle or that pesky reverse gear
engagement (and it IS related, I can assure you after tonight's driveway
diagnostics).
