VW and a 24v-V6 6 speed

Okay, I gotta chime in here....I think there is a list of new/revised options 
on the '02 model vw's at vwvortex.com. Yup, the jetta wagon is here for sure. 
They are also offering a slightly de-optioned gti, finally letting it get 
back to its roots. the vw 1.8t is getting bumped up to 170hp, gotta love 
that. According to C&D the '03 golf/jetta are supposed to have the 24v-V6 
option along with the 6 speed manual gearbox- very nice. If I had an extra 
$25k in my pocket and had to buy a new car - I'd buy a black 1.8t passat any 
day over the WRX. Until then my V8Q will have to do...  :) Now if that Mitsu 
Lancer ends up over here, I may have to retract that last statement.
