Code Connector/Plug

I checked my onboard computer code yesterday and found
that I have the wrong code connector/plug.  The one I
need it PN: 893-919-100H.  The one I have is for a
80/90 Quatro with the 18 gal tank.  My car is a 90
non-quatro with a 16 gal. tank.  This is causing my
computer to think I can drive 600 miles on a tank of
gas.  When I called the parts place, they found the
correct part number in the book but Audi says that is
not the correct number and it can't be ordered.  Any
advise on this?  I guess I could mess with tolerace
switches wich allow a change of up to +/- 15% but I
would love to find the right part instead.
