Keep in mind if you decide to replace the valve stem seals on the car
that the usual cause of failure of these (and a problem in itself) is
worn valve guides. I'd recommend on a higher milage car pulling the
head, and having it rebuilt. Also, it pays to replace the exhaust
studs at this point.
