Allen- One thing that caused me grief on that job. There is a bar (name?)
that must be removed from the steering mech. It looks like all you have to do
is loosen the nut, ant the pin will slide down and out. Well the pin has a
machined grove in it which mates with the bolt that looks like it is just
clamping the pin. You have to completely remove the bolt which looks like it
is only clamping. There is no lever long enough to pry that dam bar down if
you do not remove the bolt. Also, you should break the torque on the large
center bolt with the car resting on the ground, not on jack stands. Make sure
you use a new bolt. The old one has been stretched and should not be reused.
