Funny, after all of this, I wasn't doing ANYTHING (seriously) - 27 in a 25,  
and got nabbed this morning.  Got let go, too.  Seems my "Gee officer, 
someone hit the front of my car, broke the plate holder, and ripped the plate 
off the front" speech worked.  Now I have to mount the plate though - I'm 
sure he'll be looking for the low, loud and electric blue Coupe with no front 
plate now....
