timing belt issues

I never see this mentioned on the list, but it worked for 
me.  If you have a 5 speed, look through the various openings 
on the bell housing and slowly rotate the engine until you 
see a hole in the edge of the flywheel.  Drop a big bolt in 
it to lock the flywheel.  Don't forget to remove it when 
you are finished.  This may not apply to every Audi but 
it works nicely on a 4000 Quattro.  No fancy tools required.
Haven't tried it on my 90Q but need to soon.
