Wrong size, you need 225/50-16, and those MIGHT fit, assuming your
wheels are ET45. Problems could include rear fender rubbing (depends on
alignment, etc, but should be OK if you have stock springs), and
possible interference with front tie rod end (depends on oem vs
aftermarket tie rod end, etc)

Bunch o stuff deleted
Alex,
Thanks for the post! I was planning on going with the SP8000, but was
worried about the cost as I just bought another Audi and I have to get
it
roadworthy before I can go back to modifying my car. I only have snows
for
my car atm (87 5ktq) and I was planning on dumping some $$$ to get the
dunlops, but now I can save a few $$$ and still have good tires.
Question for other type 44 owners, and I KNOW this was discussed last
year
as I responded to it a couple times... anyways... will 225/40/16 fit on
my
87 5ktq with A6 16" wheels? I THINK I had 205/55/16 on it last year and
those fit, but I would like a little more traction.
Talk to you guys soon.
Rob
