I have to agree on the 90q's power advantage over the 4kq.  It is VERY
noticable.  I don't think I could ever drive a stock 4kq again after
throwing the turbo in my 4kq and then having my 90 as a backup.  I can stand
the transition between the 90 and the turbo but there still is a HUGE
difference in power between my 4ktq and my 90q.. even though my tq is
running stock boost... part of it might be weight related though and the
other part probably has to do with the port/polish work on the head.
There's just something about executing a pass on a SINGLE CAR at 60 and
pulling back into your lane doing 90-100 that puts a smile on your face ;-)

yup, know what you mean there.  you have to TRY to hit the rev limiter in
the 4kq.  with a turbo cam it might be a bit better (Huw?) but you are
basically wasting your time much above 5k.  the turbos and the NF/NG on the
other hand very happily bounce off the rev limiter.

heh, so when does the surgery begin?  And you don't even have to cut out
your core support to take the engine out :-)  I'll want to swing by when you
