Strange wiring..

Yesterday, I decided to check out the differential lock wiring on my
'90 200TQ, as it didn't work at all. I knew that the PO had tricked
with it, but I found a few strange things when I started tracing
wires.

1. The connector for the vacuum thing that is supposed to be under the
rear seat, was placed in the dash and not connected to anything. The
2-pin connector (yellow) on the wiring was connected in the "right"
contact (in the ABS harness), but inside the dash. How is this
connected under the rear seat? To me, it looks like the whole harness
is placed with the rear up front.

2. I found a strange connector in the e-brake area. It is about 3"
long with 9 round connectors in varying size. It had a buzzer
connected, but I don't have a clue about what it's used for. It wasn't
connected to anything..

3. When the engine is idling (from 750 to 2000 rpm), the transmission
rattles quite much. Is this the usual problem with the old clutch
disc, or something else?

4. One blue and one white vacuum tube is running from the dash to
under the rear seat, but not connected to anything on any of the ends.
What is this?

5. Where on the intake is the vacuum feed for the climate control
connected?
