Beats me what the difference is. One is for the 87.5 Coupe GT, the other is a 5ks engine. Since the 5ks went into my CGT trouble free, whatever the differences are must be minor and insignificant.

Yes, they go into the head. You have to change the sleeves/injector shrouds to match the injectors, but these can be swapped around from your old engine.

It's been a while since I studied it on the ETKA, but I'm pretty certain they are the same in that regard.

Doesn't matter.
> Do these engines have more low end torque than my 2.2 JT?
No, I would not say they have any more torque. Maybe the same or slightly less, seat-of-pants. That was a big concern of mine, especially with the lightened flywheel I used, but it was mostly unfounded. I'm still pleased with the torque.

Use the whole engine. The higher compression you seek comes from the pistons, not the head.
> I would still have the useless vac pump if I used my head
Toss it in the trash where it belongs. I simply plugged the line to the pump and ran just vacuum from the manifold. Even with four wheel disc conversion on my CGT it has more than enough brake assist; you don't even know it's gone missing.
