To this end, I've run my GT on the track now a few times sans pump, and it 
seems to work just great, no problems at all.  As that condition would be the 
most extreme that you would encounter braking day to day (high rpm, heavy 
braking - exactly what the pump was intended to aid) I'd say don't worry 
about it.  Of course, it'll work better with the 330mm rotors and 4 piston 
Brembos.....
