5KCSTQ: Fix it or replace it??? Help please.

Folks,
I'm in a quandry.  I have an 86 5KCSTQ with 200K on it.  I'm faced with the 
decision of investing heaviliy in it OR purchasing a slightly newer car with 
maybe a few less miles on it and selling/parting out the 86.  I live in 
Georgia and these cars are not worth much and there are very few around.
Firstly, what is the lists feeling about the amound of $$ I could get paring 
out an 86 and selling the parts to fellow listers?  The car needs a new 
exhaust downpipe and a radiator immediatley.  All the stuff works but I know 
major money will be needed soon. I.e. injectors, clutch slave cylinder, rear 
calipers, center support bearing. The paint is SHOT - this is a big problem 
and wouldn't be cost effective to fix.
I'd like to move up to an 88-89 TQ that may need some TLC (but no mechanical 
biggies) at a net cost of about $2000.  Is it possible.  Does anyone have 
one to sell or is anyone interested in my vehicle?

Any advice will be well received.
