Aquapel is the same thing as VisionBlade. Aquapel is the name PPG gave to
the product when it was patented for marketing to auto manufacturers, etc in
the early '90s. VisionBlade is the version sold to consumers through
licensing to a 3rd party (was STP, not sure who picked up the contract now).
You see Aquapel advertised through Jiffy Lube since they are licensed to
apply the product. I used to work on some of the formulation/testing of
Aquapel, and am still with PPG, so I'll see where (if anywhere) it can be
bought by consumers.
