You can close the big fuel line from the tank with locking pliers 
(this is the approved method). The other lines are too stiff to be 
clamped, and only contain a small amount of fuel. The first "filter" 
is just a particle trap, and usual won't need to be changed, but I 
think I used the clamp method for it too.
