But for as much as you pay for the STP "stuff", I can buy three bottles
of RainX, and even if I reapply religously every month, the three
bottles will last me over five years. Your one application of STP will
only last 6 months.

I don't mind a little extra elbow grease when I can save a bit of cash.
I've used RainX for over ten years, and I've bought maybe four or five
bottles. Granted the last one, the one I have now, is a fairly large
bottle. I also like the idea that the RainX does wear off, it's hard for
me to explain why, but I have my reasons.

Oh, and as far as putting RainX on side windows and
backlights.......Well, I wax my taillights, so that wouldn't help. I do
RainX my headlights, side windows and back window, but only about twice
a year. Since there are no wiper blades going across those surfaces, the
coating usually lasts 6 months.
