Check the label on a can of Bon-Ami. The last time I looked it contained 
feldspar and calcium carbonate if I remember correctly, and has for 
nearly a century, but I don't recall any indication of hte ratio of one 
to the other. In any event, it's softer and less abrasive than silicon 
dioxide, the common ingredient in other cleansers. I've never tried it on 
window glass, in the home or on my car, but I have used it on glass 
(borosilicate of various manutacturers including Corning, the owner of 
the Pyrex trademark) dishes in the kitchen and in our porcelain bathroom 
fixture, all with no ill-effect. The same can't be said for common 
cleansers.
