Headliner glue...*again*

Hi!

I'm off sick today so I thought it a good time to do some work to the
Audi 200 that is occupying my backyard. It's been weeks since I've had a
day at home to do anything on it. Last thing I was busy with was
stripping the interior and pulling the headliner out.

The cloth on the headliner has now completely fallen off. The headliner
board is still stuck there and I've attempted to pull the thing off. The
glue that is holding it in place is damn strong and I've already messed
up the section around the grab handles on the one doo. The board bends
too and I'm in no mood to mess this thing up.

Would something like "Goo Gone" sticker lifter or other type of sticker
and glue remover soften up the headliner glue?
