Cooling Fan comes on with ignition - '87 5kcstqw

This wierdness started just after I changed the coolant hose which goes from
the turbo to the fitting on the freeze plug. I don't see how this would be
related, except maybe draining and refilling coolant during the operation
has precipitated some sensor to be working incorrectly.

Symptoms - cooling fan comes on with ignition and stays on until ignition is
shut off. I think it is fan speed 2, but am not sure. I can hear the fan
running inside the car at idle. I haven't verified if the fan comes on
when stone cold. I was looking at the Bentle wiring diagram, but did not
see any direct correlation to ignition directly enabling any sensor to relay
feeds from current track 15 or X track.

I topped off coolant to get any air out of the system, and even ran the
afterrun pump in both directions several times. Have already taken severa
highway trips, so I don't think there could be any air in the system. There
are no warning indicators, and the coolant temp doesn't even gets to max
operating temperature - pretty much normal for this time of year.

Any BTDT on this.

TIA

Ben
