Glass Wax is still around. It works better than the usual ammonia/alcohol 
mixture (Windex and its cousins) does on unscratched plate glass, but not 
on windshields with their normal range of scratches and pits. The latter 
trap the white fine powder residue from GlassWax, making them much more 
visible than they would otherwise be.
