Need a CD reciever

Gonna take a week long trip next month, and need a cd receiver for the A6.
Any suggestions in the $250-300 range?  Anyone have one they've outgrown?
I've looked in Crutchfield and am bewildered by the profusion of offerings.
I prefer the last generation look w/o all the fancy lites/action/shiny
stuff.  Prefer orange illumination to match the dash lighting.  I bought a
Sony 600 something from a lister and I like it.  Unfortunately, it's in the
20v and my son has it in San Diego.  One that controls a changer would be
nice, but not a necessity.
