Could you please provide a source for that info?
Like citing or scanning a reliable magazine?
If I was wrong about those S2s, I will admit it, but I want to be sure what
was going on back then.
Audi was very inconsistent (to say the least) with its model names so I can
nearly imagine everything!

Perhaps, who knows...
And of course I was a bit unfair. It is a lot harder to win against other
4wd cars than 2wd cars.
