Hehe, kinda reminds me of the time I saw a neon blow its motor parked in a 
parking lot.

<flashback mode>
It's about 2am at a local Mobil gas station...
Neon owner hears odd racket coming from engine compartment. Gets out with the 
car running, and pops the hood for a looksee. Apparently he noticed nothing 
obvious, so with the hood open and climbs back in to give it a couple of revs. 
You know, just in case he was imagining the obvious noise... About the 3rd time 
he gave it some juice a rod must have let go on the exhaust side b/c there was 
a lovely burst of flame above and below the car as the engine clattered to a 
halt shortly thereafter... Of course, once the smoke cleared the owner couldn't 
get the thing started again to save his life... can't imagine why....
