TIP.. solved frnt end clunk, 2 cars

    On my two '90 100's  recently there developed a clunk from the front
suspension. Usually happened when turning sharp, exit/entering a drive way,
and sometimes when changing from backing up to forward.
    It was audible and could be felt thru the floor.
    Solved by re-tightening large nut on strut that holds shock cartridge.
    Yes I  installed shocks recently.  TIP, technician installed problem,
so a reminder to recheck tightness.
