they can be quite off.
my 90Q was reading a solid 10% under. it can be adjusted in 5%
increments up and down. So I adjusted it by 10% and it went 5% over,
adjusted back to 5% and now it is within 1%.
strangely, when I drive "efficiently" (about 25 mpg) it reads slightly
high (about 1%) and when I do a bunch of silly stuff (more like 22-23
mpg by the end of the tank) it will read slightly low (again, about
1%). Go figure.
