The methodology here should be to pay attention to the things that go
wrong with your platform car (and accessorisation list) so you can do
preventative maintenance!

Of course some things can never be predicted, but many can be prevented.

Not meaning to be snipey about Shef's catastrophes, just thought I'd
chime in with my thought for the day...
