4kq air filter

I tackled the air filter in my 86 4kq after a bad experience at a quick lube
place (another story!). I took it out from the top. After unlatching the
clips (I think with a long screwdriver) and opening up the box, you really have
to kind of manhandle the filter out... but it is doable and easier the second
time.
What I discovered was that it was hard to relatch the lid clips. I discovered
that a coat hanger with a hook on the end made it very easy to reach and pull
up on the clips.
Have fun!
