The Northeast Region Quattro Club USA (NEQ) is again sponsoring a corral at the base of Mt. Washington in Gorham NH on June 24/25 for the Climb to the Clouds hillclimb race. Details on registration, etc. will follow, and will be posted on the NEQ web site in a week or so (http://www.neqclub.org).
We've reserved a block of rooms at the same hotel as last year (details at the end of this message). You don't have to stay here, but we've found it's nice to hang out together in one central location. There will be a group dinner on Saturday night, as well.

Housing Information for Climb To The Clouds 2001
at Mt Washington in New Hamphsire
The NEQ has reserved a block of rooms at the Dana Place Inn. We booked over 30 rooms last year and it was great fun to be together where we enjoyed breakfasts, dinners and after dinner drinks as a group. The rooms are quaint New England style ranging from small with a shared bath, mid-size with own bath and extra large with own bath. Prices are noted below.
While searching the area for accommodations, we found that there were many nice Inns to choose from. We chose Dana Place for a few reasons.
1. The room prices are set at one price, with no extra fees for additional individuals or children.
2. There is an indoor heated pool and hot tub for families to enjoy.
3. There is a restaurant and pub on premises to decrease in the group splitting up and to allow for a dinner without having to wait for seating.
4. On previous years we found an average of $50 per couple to eat, added on top of the room price, got expensive. Meals are included if you stay at Dana Place.
5. Lastly, Dana Place is the closest to the mountain (7 miles south). They also provide a hose for us to rinse or wash off the cars for a great appearance.
If you decide to join us, we recommend you book early, as the larger rooms with private baths will book up fast. I have been told that there will be phones and alarm clocks available in the rooms, you may want to inquire on this when you call. Please state that you are with the NEQ when you call, so that you can get the quoted rate. Reserve no later than May 19th. After that date, the inn will start booking non-NEQ guests. We plan a breakfast on Saturday Morning for the group, and a dinner that evening for the group. There will be lounge hours after dinner as well.
Prices include Breakfast Sat/Sun and Sat Night Dinner - Please inquire about Friday night dinner if you are interested, if we get enough individuals... we will probably eat as a group (as we did last year).
$110 (Fri) and $135 (Sat) - a room which shares a bath with another room (not adjoining) - these may be small. Please ask when calling.
$120 (Fri) and $145 (Sat) - a room with river view - private bath
$135 (Fri) and $155 (Sat) - Deluxe Room with Mountain View and River View - Large in Size with private bath.
*** There are 12 rooms which are dog friendly. Ask about this when reserving.
Plus 8% Room Tax and 15% Gratuity - standard for all places up there
Notes for NEQ Members who choose to stay at another location:
Full Breakfast is $10 per person (for any non-guests who join us)
Gourmet Dinner is $20 per person (for any non guests who join us)
