WTF? Olds Cutlass Ciera?

I think you are referring to the RWD Cutlass Supreme which was phased
out around 1988 or so.  The Ciera was a front driver with a 2.8 V6,
later a 3.1 V6.  It was a twin to the equally boring Pontiac 6000 and
Chevy Celebrity.  
Interestingly there was an AWD version of the Pontiac 6000STE which
they sold one or two of.
