Dunlop SP8000 vs. Bridgestone RE730 for Audi Coupe GT

WHAT!  Joe, what you been Smokin buddy?
  The old RE-71's were better performing in the rain than the Sp
8000's.  That statement comes from numerous tire tests with
identical sized tires on the same vehicle, as well as seat of
the pants feel from myself and others.   AND the RE-730 is
replacing the RE-71 and has better wet weather performance than
the RE-71.   So how can the SP 8000 outperform the RE-730?  :-) 
  Joe, just curious, who has RE-730's.  Now that I've said the
above, whos car has them.  I'd like to talk with them about
their experiences compared to other tires.
