What seats will fit in a 4000?

Bob,
  You can make virtually Any seat fit.  But for easy replacement
your pretty much limited to any Manual VW/Audi Seat.  So a
manual seat out of an 80q should work.   Also, VW Jetta/Golf
seats will work.  They have a slightly wider track than the Audi
quattro's so you have to bend it a little but it works well. 
There were some wonderful seats in the VW Scirocco and Golf GTI
and Jetta GLI cars.  With the late model GLI Recaro seats being
the most sought after and most expensive.
