A lister mentioned a while ago that sporadic power steering maybe
caused by a real dirty screen in hydraulic fluid resevoir. My 200TQ
sometimes when turning into or out of a parking space will exhibit
these symtoms. My fluid is pretty dirty (almost black) and I havn't
cleaned the screen to test this theory out. I plan on changing the
fluid and cleaning the screen and resevoir in the near future. This
should extend the life of the rack and hopefully solve my steering
problem.
Good luck to you
