AFAIK, the lip and raised portions (lips, spokes, bolt lands, hub area)
were "polished" with a machine turned finish similar to the raised
surfaces of the mid-80's VW Passat rims and the VW GTi "Tear Drop" rims.
The remaining surfaces were either Zermatt or Pearl.
