The gauge in your Audi starts at 0.0 with that being total vacuum and
1.0 bar being just about sea level pressure. With your ignition on
but the engine not running the gauge should read whatever pressure is
present in Denver, I would guess around 0.8-0.9 or so. So, anything
above that is boost and anything under is vacuum relative to outside
the intake manifold. Most of the time this will be under vacuum
unless you push the pedal on the right a bit more.
If you are only getting up to 1.0 bar under WOT then something is
wrong. Most likely a crack in one of the various hoses that control or
