Levent,
I just replaced the 4 OE shocks on my S6 with Bilstein Sports. I had
intended to get the HD shocks, but there weren't any rear shocks in the
country, and my car was in pieces with a blown rear shock. I spoke with a
tech guy at Bilstein (go to the source, and you aren't quite as likely to
get misinformation), who informed me that Sports (for my car at least) would
be fine on a stock suspension.
I've now put several thousand miles on the shocks and haven't had any
problems. Car rides beautifully, handles even better. Not particularly
harsh, either.
If you're curious, you might want to check the Bilstein website for the
local office. I think there's 2, one in Connecticut and one on the west
coast. Ring them up and confirm for yourself. Then order from shox.com, who,
I gather, has the best prices on Bilsteins.
